A special honor was given to a group of young people in Houston, Texas who have undergone or are currently receiving cancer treatment. MD Anderson has been hosting a prom night for teenagers and their families who have been on challenging health journeys. Brodie Pursch, who has successfully received treatment at MD Anderson, was thrilled to attend the recent prom night. The event included a fashion show, live music, and food, as well as beautician services for the attendees to look their best. The evening was titled “An Unforgettable Evening in the Enchanted Forest Prom Party Palooza.” The attendees had a memorable time on the dance floor and enjoyed the community event organized by MD Anderson. In another heartwarming event, a nonprofit group in Omaha, Nebraska, organized a special prom night for young people with special needs, opening the event to people of all ages for a truly wonderful experience.
