In a remarkable display of skill and dominance, Caitlin Clark became the first rookie in WNBA history to record a triple-double, notching 19 points, 13 assists, and 12 rebounds in a thrilling game for the Indiana Fever. This impressive feat not only cemented Clark’s status as a rising star in the league but also earned her a place in the Fever’s history books as the first player to achieve a triple-double.

The Fever’s victory was far from assured, as they trailed the Eastern Conference leaders 75-68 with just 4:21 remaining on the clock. However, Clark’s contributions proved to be the catalyst for a remarkable 11-0 run that propelled the Fever to a 83-78 win.

Clark’s impressive performance was not limited to her triple-double. She also led the way in All-Star voting, amassing a staggering 700,735 votes to top the leaderboard. Her fellow rookie and rival Angel Reese finished fifth with 381,518 votes, a testament to Clark’s dominance in the league.

Despite not making the U.S. Women’s Basketball Olympic squad, Clark and Reese will have the opportunity to showcase their skills against the Team USA All-Stars on July 20 as part of the WNBA All-Star team.
