A woman in Memphis has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of a man at Cherokee Park. Kenyetta Hayes, 26, is accused of taking $60 from the man and using it to purchase two wing combos. The incident occurred when the man offered her money in exchange for a favor, but instead of fulfilling the favor, Hayes decided to rob him. After shooting the man at the park, Hayes confessed to the crime and admitted to spending the stolen money on food for herself and her boyfriend. She has been taken into custody and her bond has not yet been set.
