Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States, is set to take the stage at a rally in Wilmington, North Carolina, on Saturday at approximately 2:00 p.m. Eastern time.
This marks Trump’s first visit to the state since controversy surrounding Republican gubernatorial nominee Mark Robinson erupted on Thursday. Robinson has been accused of posting explicit comments on a pornographic online forum over a decade ago.
Notably, Robinson has not received an invitation to the rally, leaving many to wonder if Trump will publicly address the allegations against the embattled nominee.
As the presidential election heats up, North Carolina remains a crucial swing state, with its electoral votes hanging in the balance. Despite being a key battleground, Trump secured victories in the state in both the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections.
