A man from Tipton, Pennsylvania, named Michael McClellan, has been arrested for illegal possession of guns and drugs after attempting to break into an impound lot to retrieve them. The incident occurred earlier this month and McClellan is facing charges in two separate cases.

On May 8, police received reports of McClellan littering, allowing battery acid to mix with waterways, and shooting guns towards a river used by fishermen and kayakers. When police arrived at the scene, they found McClellan with an active warrant. During a search, they discovered live ammunition in his possession and then located two rifles, a glass smoking device, and more ammunition in his truck.

McClellan refused a search of the truck, which was subsequently towed. On May 9, authorities searched the impounded vehicle and uncovered various drugs, drug paraphernalia, and ammunition. Additionally, surveillance footage showed McClellan using bolt cutters to break into the impound lot.

McClellan is facing charges for illegal possession of firearms, drug delivery, trespassing, tampering with evidence, criminal mischief, and burglary. He has been denied bail and is currently in the Huntingdon County Jail awaiting his court dates. Preliminary hearings for both cases are scheduled for May 22.
