If you want to keep your devices quiet while you sleep, there are various ways to do so. On Android, you can toggle on the Do Not Disturb feature in the Settings under Notifications. This allows you to set specific hours for when notifications will be silenced. Additionally, there is a Bedtime mode option that turns your phone screen gray during specified hours.

For iOS users, you can set Downtime in the Screen Time settings to restrict certain apps during specific hours. This provides a more granular control than the standard Do Not Disturb feature.

Smart speakers from Google and Amazon can also be set to quiet modes where they will respond more softly to voice prompts. You can schedule downtime routines for your smart speaker in the Google Home app or enable Do Not Disturb mode in the Alexa app.

To silence your laptop or desktop, you can activate Do Not Disturb mode in the Settings in Windows or by using a keyboard shortcut in macOS. This will prevent notifications from making sounds or appearing on your screen while you sleep. You can also simply mute your computer altogether for a peaceful night’s rest.
