He highlighted an incident where campus members celebrated Hamas’ actions, despite the ongoing conflict with Israel. Kivetz emphasized the need to address the radicalization of youth on campuses, as they will be future leaders. He also mentioned that he believes most students and faculty want to focus on their jobs, and he is thankful for the NYPD’s presence on campus.
