Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s campaign is optimistic about his chances to qualify for the upcoming presidential debates. Despite the fact that a third-party candidate has not participated in a debate since Ross Perot in 1992, RFK Jr.’s team believes he meets all requirements to be included.

According to a spokesperson for RFK Jr., he plans to participate in the debates and has already fulfilled one of the requirements by being on the ballot in 13 states, with a goal of being on all 50 state ballots. While he needs to poll at 15% nationally to meet the second requirement, recent surveys have shown him hovering around 10%.

RFK Jr. has even offered to debate former President Donald Trump at the Libertarian National Convention, although Trump has yet to respond. Both major parties have started attacking RFK Jr. in an attempt to minimize his impact on the election.

Despite facing criticism for promoting conspiracy theories and revealing past memory issues caused by a brain-worm, RFK Jr. remains confident and even joked about the situation during a recent comedy set in California. He assured his audience that his “brain worm” provides him with a wealth of information, albeit mixed with conspiracy theories that need to be filtered out.
