Review: Crave Tease – More Than Just Jewelry, Less Than a Vibrator

Unboxing Crave’s latest semi-incognito sex toy, the Tease Ring, is a delightful experience. The small black box with silver gilt lettering feels like an elegant invitation. Upon opening it, the Tease Ring sits on a soft pillow of felt-textured foam, its gold chrome finish shining in the light, promising a luxurious experience.

Crave, known for the stylish vibrator necklace Vesper, has now introduced the Tease Ring. Excited to try this new sex toy that goes on your finger, I soon realized that it did not live up to its promise of luxury.

The Tease Ring is marketed as a sophisticated and discreet accessory, encouraging fantasies of adventurous nights out. However, in reality, the silicone ring easily slipped off my finger, leading to a comical search mission in my apartment to retrieve it. Despite coming in three sizes, the Tease Ring failed to impress during testing.

The product struggles to find a balance between being a piece of jewelry and a vibrator. The vibrator is too weak, and the ring lacks charm. In contrast, Crave’s Vesper excels in both roles, functioning as a quality vibrator and a fashionable accessory.

Using the Tease Ring felt awkward and impractical. Whether positioned on top of the knuckles or palm side of the hand, it hindered movement and manual dexterity. The toy also lacked the allure of feeling sensual, reminiscent of a novelty hand buzzer from a children’s cartoon.

Overall, the Tease Ring falls short of expectations, failing to deliver on its promises of luxury and functionality.
