Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) stated Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Alex Wagner Tonight” that Republicans were engaged in a “revenge fantasy” concerning former President Donald Trump’s guilty verdict in the New York business document trial.
Warren remarked, “This revenge fantasy is truly alarming. I understand that these are people who have pledged their loyalty to Donald Trump, not to the Constitution. Not to the people, but to this one man. They follow him and do whatever he wants them to do.”
Warren further stated, “What these Republicans want is to use government for Donald Trump and for themselves, and that poses a true threat to our democracy.”
