A pair of female flight attendants, who worked a Jacksonville Jaguars flight to London in September last year, have brought a lawsuit against former kicker Brandon McManus alleging sexual assault.
The lawsuits alleges that the flight attendants suffered “severe mental anguish, anxiety, psychological and emotional distress, embarrassment and humiliation,” among other damages, and they are seeking over $1 million in damages.
The Washington Commanders, where McManus currently plays, said they were made aware of the lawsuit and are reviewing the matter. “We take allegations of this nature very seriously and are looking into the matter. We have been in communication with the League Office and Brandon’s representation, and we will reserve further comment at this time,” the Commanders said in a statement.
