In an ad campaign ahead of Thursday’s presidential debate, a right-wing organization will air a 60-second digital advertisement in several swing states, blaming President Joe Biden’s border policies for the alleged murder of Rachel Morin, a Maryland mother of five. According to police, Morin was brutally beaten, raped and murdered by an illegal alien MS-13 gang member, who had been deported multiple times before committing the crime.

The ad, which will also appear on mobile billboards and projection screens in Atlanta, Georgia; Greensboro, North Carolina; and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, shifts the blame from the perpetrator to Biden. The ad features a graphic message, “Illegal immigrant Victor Hernandez, he was wanted for murder, but Biden let him in.”

The 23-year-old illegal alien from El Salvador, Martinez Hernandez, had twice been returned to Mexico by border agents after previous attempts to cross into the US, but he reportedly managed to slip past authorities and make his way to California, where he allegedly committed another violent crime. He then traveled to Maryland, where he was accused of raping and murdering Morin, and was subsequently arrested and charged.

The advertisement is likely to spark outrage among immigration reform advocates, who argue that immigration policies must prioritize the safety and dignity of all people, regardless of their country of origin or immigration status. Opponents of stricter border control measures say that it is unfair and immoral to blame Biden for the actions of one individual, citing the complexities and challenges associated with immigration enforcement.

The Building America’s Future advocacy group, responsible for the ad, ran a similar campaign during Biden’s previous State of the Union address, blaming him for the alleged murder of Laken Riley, allegedly committed by an illegal alien released into the United States.
