0:00

The NBA League Pass is set to introduce a range of innovative features for the upcoming 2024-25 season, including a highly anticipated multiview option. This feature, which allows fans to watch up to four games simultaneously on a single screen, is now available to subscribers, giving them a head start on the new season, which kicks off on October 22.

Another exciting feature to be rolled out is a smart rewind tool, which will automatically identify key highlights and plays for easy review. Subscribers will also be able to download full games for offline viewing, making it easier to catch up on missed games on the go. However, fans are advised to steer clear of spoilers to avoid ruining the experience.

In addition to these features, the NBA League Pass is incorporating advanced AI technology, including the NBA Insights tool, which uses a sophisticated algorithm to provide in-depth analysis and updates. This algorithm, trained on a deep understanding of basketball, will offer fans a continuous feed of text-based updates, including key narratives, player performances, and notable milestones.

The league is also leveraging generative AI to localize content, offering translations and automated recaps in French, Portuguese, and Spanish. Furthermore, the Dunk Score feature will use AI to grade dunks in real-time, taking into account factors such as jumping distance, style, and defensive efforts.

The NBA League Pass offers access to hundreds of out-of-market games throughout the season, with a premium ad-free subscription available for $25 per month or $160 per season. A standard ad-filled subscription costs $17 per month or $110 per season. For those who prefer a more limited service, NBA TV is still available via cable providers.
