Attorney General Andrew Bailey of Missouri is calling for the Department of Justice to release all communications related to the alleged prosecutions of former President Trump. Bailey believes that the Biden Administration may have been behind these prosecutions. He specifically mentioned requesting communications between the DOJ and Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, New York AG Leticia James, and Fulton County DA Fani Willis. Bailey suspects that the DOJ is the center of these illicit prosecutions against Trump.

Bailey pointed out that the investigations into Trump seemed to be coordinated by the DOJ, citing the transfer of Matthew Colangelo from the DOJ to the Manhattan DA’s Office for the purpose of prosecuting Trump. Additionally, he noted that Alvin Bragg and Letitia James worked together on civil litigation against Trump before Bragg campaigned for his current position.

Bailey’s concern is that the federal government, currently led by Trump’s political opponent, is possibly influencing the prosecutions of a prominent presidential candidate. He requested these communications through the Freedom of Information Act.

According to Fox News, Bailey asked for all communications related to Colangelo’s move to Bragg’s office, as well as any similar communications between the DOJ and the offices of Bragg, James, and Willis. Bailey’s accusations are serious and he is seeking transparency on the matter.
