Actor, singer, and filmmaker Robert Davi has criticized the growing chorus of Hollywood celebrities urging Americans to vote for Kamala Harris, arguing that they are disconnected from the everyday concerns of ordinary citizens. In a recent appearance on Fox News, Davi pointed out that pro-Harris stars like Oprah Winfrey and Meryl Streep are part of the wealthy elite, far removed from the struggles of average Americans.

Davi noted that these celebrities are not representative of the working-class individuals who keep the film industry running. He cited a recent Teamsters poll, which showed that nearly 60 percent of members support former President Donald Trump. This stark contrast highlights the disconnect between Hollywood’s elite and the people who actually work behind the scenes.

Celebrities like Julia Roberts, Taylor Swift, and Billie Eilish have also endorsed Harris, but their support may not be having the desired impact. Recent polls suggest that Swift’s endorsement has failed to energize voters, with many saying they don’t care about her political views.

Davi also criticized the left for using scare tactics to demonize Trump, claiming he would lead the country into dictatorship and global war. However, Davi argued that the opposite occurred during Trump’s first term, and that major global conflicts have actually erupted under the Biden-Harris administration.

Davi, who has appeared in films like The Goonies and Licence to Kill, also directed the 2022 movie My Son Hunter, which exposed the shady dealings of the Biden family. His comments highlight the growing divide between Hollywood’s elite and the concerns of ordinary Americans.
