Georgia Parents Detained for Child Exploitation and Sexual Abuse

Two Georgia parents, Ashlee Crawley, 26, and James Tripp, 29, have been detained for their involvement in a horrific act of exploitation – allegedly arranging for men to rape their 2-year-old daughter and creating and selling explicit content featuring their young children online.

Following a tip reported to the Grovetown Police Department, investigators uncovered a disturbing operation where Crawley was creating and selling “explicit” materials on various platforms, sometimes involving their children for extra compensation. The worst-case scenario is that the father, Tripp, had also made plans and sought permission from his child’s mother to engage in sex with their 2-year-old daughter, a crime that has stunned authorities.

All of Crawley’s children, including the 2-year-old, have been taken from their caregivers and are now under the supervision of the state’s child protection services. The investigation, still ongoing, may result in additional charges against the pair.

Little information has been released regarding the men who allegedly bought the explicit content from Crawley or sought to perpetrate harm against the 2-year-old child. Meanwhile, both parents are currently being held at the Columbia County Jail.
