A group of activists physically pushed a reporter out of the “Palestine Solidarity Encampment” at the University of California Los Angeles. The activists set up barricades and tents, and about 100 pro-Palestinian activists were present. Signs with various slogans, including “Queers for Palestine,” were displayed. The encampment was guarded by activists wearing fluorescent jerseys and masks. The reporter was initially allowed to enter but was later surrounded and obstructed from filming by the activists. The reporter spoke out against the violation of the First Amendment and press freedom. The encampment is one of many at universities across the U.S. using pro-terror rhetoric.
