President Joe Biden has announced that the United States will no longer supply Israel with bombs and artillery shells if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu decides to launch a large-scale invasion of Rafah, Gaza, as part of the conflict with Hamas.

In an interview with CNN, Biden expressed concern over the civilian casualties caused by U.S.-supplied weapons in Gaza. He confirmed that shipments of 2,000-pound bombs have been halted and stated that he will not provide weapons for an invasion of Rafah.

While discussing the economy, Biden defended his record on job creation and claimed that the economy has already started to improve. Despite facing negative economic approval ratings, he highlighted the rise in consumer confidence during his administration.

Biden acknowledged the concerns over rising consumer prices and blamed “corporate greed” for the inflation rate increase in April. He emphasized the need to address economic pressures felt by ordinary people.

The president was in Racine, Wisconsin, to promote Microsoft’s data center project and tout his economic achievements.
