Angela Jardon, a 48-year-old woman, has been charged with aggravated robbery after allegedly robbing a man of his walker and wallet on a downtown Memphis street on Sunday. The victim informed police that he was walking near Juvenile Court on Adams Avenue when he noticed an unfamiliar woman lying on the grass in front of the courthouse. The woman then approached him, wielding a black stick, causing the man to fall to the ground. She proceeded to take his wallet containing $30 and his walker. Police were able to locate Jardon in the same area with the victim’s belongings. She is currently detained at Jail East.
