Ultimate Fighting Champion CEO Dana White is set to take the stage at the Republican National Convention next week, just before former President Donald Trump accepts the GOP presidential nomination for a third consecutive time. The event is scheduled to take place in Milwaukee on Thursday night, with Trump’s acceptance speech following White’s address.

According to reports from the Wall Street Journal and confirmed by a campaign official to the Washington Examiner, White’s keynote speech will be a highlight of the convention’s final night, which is themed “Make America Great Once Again.” The Trump campaign is touting the former president’s nomination acceptance speech as a moment to usher in a new era of American greatness.

This will be White’s third appearance at the RNC, having spoken during the second night in 2016 and the final night in 2020. Trump has a long-standing relationship with White, dating back to the early 2000s when the former president hosted UFC events at his properties.

The Republican National Convention is scheduled to begin on Monday, with four nights of speeches and events culminating in Trump’s nomination acceptance on Thursday evening. Other notable speakers expected to take the stage include Gov. Ron DeSantis and Rep. Elise Stefanik, as well as high-profile Republicans looking to energize the party’s ticket ahead of the November election.

The 2024 RNC marks the first in-person major national political party convention since the 2016 Democratic National Convention, with the 2020 RNC and DNC held virtually or with limited attendance. In contrast, the 2024 Democratic National Convention, where President Joe Biden is set to accept the Democratic Party’s nomination, is scheduled for August 19-22 in Chicago.
