President Donald Trump addressed a gathering of Jewish leaders at his Bedminster, New Jersey, estate on Thursday, criticizing his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, for allegedly pandering to antisemitism. Trump claimed that Harris’s actions, including hiring anti-Israel advisers and skipping Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to Congress, demonstrated her lack of commitment to combating antisemitism.

Trump also took aim at Jewish leaders, such as Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, accusing them of failing to effectively lead the Jewish community in the United States. He argued that this failure had led to a decline in Jewish leadership and allowed politicians who harbor anti-Israel sentiments to rise through the Democratic Party ranks.

The President pointed to the upcoming Democratic National Convention in Chicago, where he claimed hundreds of thousands of people would gather to protest Israel. He urged Jewish Americans to reassess their voting habits, suggesting that they should support him and Republican candidates to ensure the protection of Israel and the Jewish community.

Trump warned that a Harris presidency would embolden enemies of Israel and the United States, citing the Hamas terror attack of October 7 as an example of what could happen under her leadership. He vowed that, if re-elected, he would allow Israel to triumph in its war against terror and would take a tough stance against antisemitism on college campuses.

The President also blasted the rise of antisemitism in American cities and universities, drawing parallels with the pre-Holocaust era. He criticized Harris for praising the “emotion” behind anti-Israel protests and labeled her a “radical-left lunatic” who would put the interests of Israel’s enemies above those of the Jewish community.

Trump’s remarks were echoed by Dr. Miriam Adelson, who addressed the gathering and praised the President’s record on Israel. Adelson highlighted Trump’s fulfillment of key campaign promises, including moving the US embassy to Jerusalem and recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights. She urged Jewish Americans to support Trump’s re-election bid, arguing that he was the only leader who truly shared their values.

The event was attended by prominent Jewish figures from across the country, including Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer. One speaker noted the alarming rise of antisemitism on college campuses, comparing the climate to that of 1930s Germany.
