Authorities in Mexico are investigating the murder of three tourists on a secluded beach in Baja California. The current theory suggests that the victims were killed during a robbery where they tried to resist.

Baja California’s Attorney General Maria Elena Andrade Ramirez confirmed that three bodies believed to be those of the missing tourists were found shot and dumped in a chasm. The victims are identified as Australian brothers Jake Robinson and Callum Robinson, along with their friend Jack Cartel Rhoad. Additionally, a fourth body was discovered at the scene, but it was determined to be unrelated to the case.

The tourists were reported missing on April 26, and it is still unclear when the fourth body was disposed of. Reports indicate that the tourists were attacked by robbers while at a beach in Ensenada. The victims resisted, leading to their tragic deaths. Three individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident.

Authorities have ruled out organized crime involvement in the murders, labeling it as a case of common street crime. Investigations are ongoing to bring those responsible to justice.
