Texas Mother’s Mysterious Death: Reinvestigation Reveals Suspicions of Homicide and Domestic Violence

The death of 30-year-old Texas mother Giselle Tapia-Salazar, whose body was found hanging from a dock in League City, is being reexamined as a homicide. Investigators believe Tapia-Salazar’s death was staged to appear as a suicide, and they have identified two individuals of interest in the case.

Tapia-Salazar’s body was discovered near the boat she shared with her boyfriend, James Hart, where she was living. Hart has denied any involvement in her death, telling Truth Voices national correspondent Alex Caprariello that he is heartbroken and has nothing to hide. However, police have identified Hart as a person of interest and confirmed that there is a history of reported domestic violence between the couple. Hart is cooperating with the investigation.

Caprariello also spoke with Christian Allen, the neighbor who found Tapia-Salazar’s body. Allen described waking up Hart and being told that Tapia-Salazar had simply gone to the bathroom and everything was fine.
