A man from New Hampshire was taken into custody for allegedly flipping over a port-a-potty, trapping a woman and her child inside.
According to witnesses in Manchester, Aiden Struder, 18, was seen arguing with the woman near the portable toilet at Derryfield Park. The incident occurred on Wednesday.
The woman, who was not acquainted with the 18-year-old man, entered the port-a-potty to assist her daughter. Struder then pushed it over, causing the door to land on the pavement.
Bystanders quickly came to the rescue, overturning the toilet to free the woman and child. Both reported being covered in bodily fluids and feces, but thankfully they were not harmed.
Struder was taken into custody and is now facing charges for criminal mischief, criminal restraint, and simple assault for throwing something at an officer, according to the police.
