In Sumter County, Florida, a 16-year-old boy has been charged with premeditated first-degree murder, as well as other charges, after forcibly entering a home and stabbing two victims, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities mentioned that the teen ordered two weapons online on Thursday.

On Saturday night around 10:11 p.m., the teen walked almost six miles to a 15-year-old boy’s home in Wildwood who was having a sleepover.

According to reports, the suspect arrived unannounced and “banged” on the door. When the 15-year-old answered, the suspect forced his way in, stabbing the boy.

An adult in the residence went to investigate, and the suspect also stabbed them, in addition to threatening a third victim.

Medical personnel provided assistance to both stabbing victims at the home, who were then flown to nearby hospitals.

Deputies reported that the 15-year-old victim was declared dead at the hospital at 1:19 a.m. The 48-year-old adult victim is currently being treated in the ICU.

The motive behind the attack remains unknown.
