A man suspected of a shooting at a restaurant on Easter Sunday has been apprehended by Metro Nashville Police, as announced on Twitter. Anton Rucker, 46, allegedly shot and killed one person and injured seven others at the Salemtown restaurant Roasted during Easter brunch. Rucker was located in Princeton, Kentucky, and was taken into custody without incident. The incident was a result of an argument between Rucker and 33-year-old Allen Beachem, which escalated into gunfire. Six victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while a pregnant woman was hospitalized due to a panic attack. It is unclear if Rucker and Beachem were acquainted. Surveillance footage of the incident led to the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. Rucker is currently in custody in Kentucky on a fugitive warrant.
