West Columbia Mayor Tem Miles attended a Sunday service at the church and assured that the incident is under investigation. The church has also been flooded with support from various parts of the country, showing solidarity in the face of adversity. Pastor Elijah Smalls focused his sermon on love and forgiveness following the incident, emphasizing the importance of kindness and understanding in these divisive times.
