Robert F. Kennedy Jr. urged his supporters to vote for Donald Trump in November, emphasizing that it’s the only way to bring Trump to Washington, D.C. to tackle government corruption, protect free speech, and promote national health. Kennedy highlighted Trump’s personal experience with government overreach, citing his Twitter ban in 2021 and the subsequent attempts to silence him.
However, Kennedy also shared his own experiences with censorship and government targeting. As a vocal critic of the establishment, he has faced intense backlash, particularly after announcing his presidential run and later joining forces with Trump. Kennedy revealed that he is now under investigation by the National Marine Fisheries Institute, which he believes is a clear example of government overreach.
The investigation centers around a whale specimen Kennedy allegedly collected 20 years ago, despite the statute of limitations having expired 15 years ago. Kennedy pointed out the hypocrisy of the situation, noting that the same agency has failed to investigate the environmental impact of 26 offshore wind farms on the east coast, which have resulted in the deaths of numerous endangered whales, porpoises, and dolphins.
Kennedy argued that this selective investigation is a prime example of the government’s willingness to target its political opponents, and he warned that this kind of behavior poses a significant threat to American democracy.
