On Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “OutFront,” House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT) responded to reports of eight foreign nationals with possible ISIS ties being arrested after crossing the border. He acknowledged the danger of terrorists coming over the border but criticized Republicans for exaggerating the threat, noting that “in 30 years, there has not been a single terrorist fatality engineered by an undocumented alien.” Himes also remarked that it would be irrational for terrorists to seek asylum as these individuals did.
