Receiving Federal Funding is a Privilege, Not an Entitlement

In response to protests on college campuses, Scott stated that while peaceful protests are respected, the recent actions on campuses have escalated to violence and vandalism. He highlighted the importance of eliminating anti-semitism on campus and criticized President Biden for taking too long to condemn it. Scott urged college presidents to prioritize the safety and security of all students, especially Jewish students, and emphasized that federal funding should not be taken for granted. He urged all universities to create a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
