MORRILTON, Ark. — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) has confirmed that Stacy Drake, a 50-year-old man from Birmingham, Alabama, was located and arrested in Morrilton, Arkansas, in connection with multiple homicides in Oklahoma.

Drake was last seen on surveillance footage at a hotel in Morrilton, about 50 miles northwest of Little Rock, according to the Morrilton Police Department. The department received a notification from Arkansas State Police that the vehicle used in the homicides was parked at the hotel.

After a thorough search of the hotel, Drake was found hiding in a wooded area of Morrilton at around 10 a.m. local time. He was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held at the Conway County Detention Center.

Drake has been on the run since late Tuesday evening and is a person of interest in two different carjackings in Oklahoma that resulted in homicides. One of the incidents occurred on Tuesday in Gans, Oklahoma, where a man and a woman were found dead inside a business with injuries consistent with homicide.

The OSBI named Drake as a person of interest in the case, but did not provide further details on the second alleged carjacking. Additionally, Drake is wanted on multiple felony warrants from multiple jurisdictions, with charges including aggravated robbery, carjacking, and robbery.
