Alyssa Farah Griffin shared on ABC’s “The View” Thursday that former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley’s (R) endorsement of former President Donald Trump was a betrayal to her supporters.
Griffin remarked, “I’m disappointed but not surprised. I lost trust in politicians a while ago. Maybe I’m being petty, but if someone attacked my intelligence, family, marriage, and American democracy, I probably wouldn’t go back to supporting them and their military. Haley voters feel betrayed. A quick look at her Instagram comments reveals feelings of betrayal. She warned us about him, and now she’s changed her stance. I always thought Haley’s supporters were with her because she advocated for something beyond Trump.”
Griffin continued, “This is political expediency; it’s pathetic and cowardly. She didn’t help Donald Trump but damaged herself irreparably.”
