Truth Voices Senior National Correspondent Brian Entin recently conducted an investigation in tunnels and abandoned houses near Portland, Oregon, in search of information about a possible serial killer.

Authorities may finally be making progress in the case of the slayings of four Portland women that had shaken the city of Oregon. In 2023, five women under the age of 35 were found dead over a span of three months. Initially believed to be unrelated, police later connected four of the deaths. The victims included Kristin Smith, Charity Perry, Bridget Webster, and Ashley Real. The cause of death for one victim, Joanna Speaks, was determined to be blunt force trauma, although her case was not tied to the others.

A person of interest in the case, Jesse Lee Calhoun, is currently in jail for a parole violation but could be released soon. He had previously had his sentence commuted in 2021 for assisting in wildfire efforts while incarcerated for various crimes. Family members of the victims expressed their beliefs that their loved ones were intentionally placed in the locations where they were found.

Despite the challenges, the investigation continues as family members seek justice for the victims.
