The mainstream media is attempting to dissuade undecided voters from supporting President Donald Trump’s popular, sensible, and advantageous pledge to protect the nation’s borders. An article in Time magazine on April 30 highlighted this campaign, with the reporter questioning Trump about using the military and building migrant detention camps. Trump brushed off the notion of detention camps and emphasized a gradual deportation policy.

He labeled Biden’s migration as an “invasion” and despite journalists criticizing this term, a poll in August 2022 showed that most of the public, including nearly half of Latino voters, agreed that Biden’s migration could be seen as an invasion.

Since 2021, President Joe Biden and his administration have allowed at least 7 million illegal and quasi-legal migrants to enter the country through various legal justifications, disregarding the impact on Americans’ economy and livelihood. Trump, on the other hand, can quickly reverse Biden’s lenient stance on migrants, revoke parole for over a million migrants, and bolster enforcement of deportation laws.

However, Trump’s efforts to secure the borders will face opposition from well-funded networks of progressive lawyers, Democratic supporters of the imported migrants, advocacy groups backed by major businesses, and pro-immigration journalists in mainstream media outlets.

Despite this, even the Washington Post acknowledged in April that the public is in favor of upholding the nation’s laws. Polls from USA Today, Economist-YouGov, and Reuters-Ipsos showed support for sending troops to the border, mass deportation of illegal immigrants, and placing undocumented immigrants in detention camps.

Media outlets are aligning with Democrats to portray Trump’s border policies in a negative light. They warn of the potential negative consequences of mass deportations, including economic repercussions and social upheaval.

Trump’s allies, on the other hand, argue that ending high migration will benefit American workers by offering higher wages and better benefits. They believe the nation’s laws should be applied equally to all groups.

The current policy of “Extraction Migration,” which relies on importing human resources to fuel economic growth, has depressed wages, increased rents, displaced native-born Americans in various industries, and reduced their influence in elections.

This policy has extracted resources from impoverished countries and led to the deaths of many undocumented migrants.
