A transgender woman has stirred controversy by advocating for a uterus transplant to become pregnant and subsequently have an abortion, as seen in a viral video.
Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly responded to the video on her show, saying, “This is what we’re supposed to respect, and be inclusive of, and allow in our little girls’ bathrooms? I don’t think so!”
Students for Life President Kristan Hawkins described the trans individual as “a demon.”
“This individual seeks to alter their body, implant ovaries and a uterus to conceive a child, only to terminate it,” she posted on X. “This highlights extreme ideologies.”
When the video gained traction in 2023, trans man Buck Angel remarked, “These people are delusional! No wonder there is backlash against transsexuals.”
Although uterus transplants have been successfully performed on females, some progressive medical experts argue that men who identify as women should also be considered candidates, as previously reported.
Alicyn Simpson, a transgender “community navigator” at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Children’s Hospital, has suggested that women who do not want their reproductive organs should consider donating them to transgender individuals.
Explaining the perspective of a potential live donor, Simpson said, “If someone feels, ‘I have these parts. I don’t want them, you want them, you need them. What if I gave them to you?’… Apparently, according to their research, this is feasible.”
