An Oklahoma City man, Brandon Ye, 43, was sentenced to nine years in federal prison on Thursday for his involvement in a black-market marijuana scheme. The scheme, which took place from June 2022 to March 2023, involved using a fake Amazon delivery truck to transport marijuana from growers to a stash house.
During a search of the stash house on NW 58th St., investigators discovered over 60 pounds of marijuana packaged in vacuum-sealed bags and stored in black trash bags. According to U.S. Attorney Robert Troester, Ye was responsible for moving a total of 28 tons of marijuana out of the state.
Ye pleaded guilty in September 2023 to charges of possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm while distributing marijuana illegally.
