Paul Njoroge experienced a tragic loss when his wife, Carolyne, and three children passed away in the 2019 Ethiopian Airlines crash. Since then, he has been navigating his grief while also following the legal troubles faced by Boeing, the manufacturer of the plane involved in the crash. The U.S. Department of Justice claims that Boeing breached a settlement related to the crashes in 2018 and 2019, where 346 lives were lost. While Boeing argues that it has fulfilled its obligations, the DOJ has yet to decide on potential charges by July 7. Njoroge emphasizes the need for Boeing to prioritize human life over profits and reevaluate its corporate culture to prevent such tragedies in the future.
