During a recent performance in Tel Aviv, singer-songwriter John Ondrasik, also known as Five for Fighting, strongly criticized Hamas as “evil.” Ondrasik shared video from the concert on his social media platforms, where he expressed his support for Israel in their battle against Hamas for freedom, democracy, and civilization.
During the performance, Ondrasik led the audience in singing a song called “OK (We Are Not OK),” inspired by a terror attack where Hamas militants infiltrated Israeli territory and committed heinous acts of violence. In a tweet, Ondrasik expressed his solidarity with the victims of Hamas’ atrocities.
Amidst tensions, Iran launched a missile and drone attack on Israel, which was mostly intercepted by Israeli defenses. This attack came shortly after President Joe Biden warned Iran against such actions, which were disregarded by the Iranian leadership.
Ondrasik has been critical of the Biden administration’s foreign policy, particularly its handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal. In past interviews, he has credited conservative figure Andrew Breitbart as an inspiration for his music, including his song “Blood on My Hands.”
