President Joe Biden has agreed to participate in debates with former President Donald Trump in June and September. Trump responded eagerly on Truth Social, stating, “‘Let’s get ready to Rumble!!!” Trump had previously pushed for debates with Biden, demanding the Commission on Presidential Debates to schedule events early to accommodate early voting. Biden, in response, challenged Trump to debates, stating that he had won two debates in 2020 and would be willing to do it again. A debate has been scheduled for June 27th, with Trump agreeing to participate. However, there is a call for more debates to generate excitement. Biden had announced his willingness to debate Trump on the Howard Stern Show previously. Despite initial skepticism, it seems the debates will move forward as planned.
