Nick Bollea, son of WWE legend Hulk Hogan, has taken a guilty plea to driving under the influence (DUI) and a Move Over Act violation, according to court documents filed Friday.

On November 7, authorities arrested Bollea for speeding past a traffic stop and refusing to move over, despite police signaling for him to pull over.

An officer who apprehended Bollea reported the suspect had a distinct smell of alcohol on his breath, bloodshot eyes, and displayed signs of being unsteady, according to court documents.

Refusing a breath test was an additional incident, cited by the officer as evidence against Bollea.

Pleading guilty, Bollea was subsequently sentenced to one year of probation, subject to early termination after a minimum of six months, provided he remains law-abiding.

Furthemore, the accused is required to participate in DUI education programs, complete 100 hours of community service, surrender his license for 12 months, pay a fine of over $1,000, and undergo continuous substance abuse and testing for 120 days, under supervision.

This legal entanglement adds to an already convoluted history surrounding Bollea. In a tragic incident dating back to 2007, the 16-year-old was behind the wheel in a vehicle that crashed and left John Graziano severely injured. That lawsuit lingered for years until a 2008 hearing at which Bollea pleaded “no contest” to reckless driving related to the accident.
