A star-studded lineup of comedians and actors will gather for a virtual fundraiser in support of Kamala Harris next week, the latest effort by Hollywood elites to boost the Democratic presidential candidate’s campaign coffers.

The event, set to take place on Monday at 8 p.m. ET, will feature a packed roster of talent, including Ben Stiller, Jason Bateman, Patton Oswalt, Kathy Griffin, and Rosie O’Donnell, who has been a longtime critic of Donald Trump. Other participants will include Cecily Strong, Jon Hamm, Kathryn Hahn, Ed Helms, and John Stamos, among others.

The fundraiser was organized by Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), who reached out to Dani Zoldan, owner of Stand Up New York, and producer Jamie Patricof to bring the event together. Swalwell credited President Biden’s decision to step aside as a catalyst for the event, saying it has “energized so many people.”

The virtual fundraiser will be free to attend, but donations will be encouraged. The event follows on the heels of a successful fundraiser earlier this week, “White Dudes for Harris,” which raised over $4 million and featured a number of high-profile celebrities, including Jeff Bridges and Mark Hamill.

Hollywood has been quick to rally behind Harris since President Biden’s departure from the presidential race, with many celebrities taking to social media to express their support. However, some critics have accused the entertainment industry of glossing over Harris’s record as vice president, including her handling of the southern border, which has been a major point of contention.
