Palestinian American CEO Andrew Dudum is giving job opportunities to college students who are taking part in anti-Israel protests on campuses across the United States. This comes as other entrepreneurs have stated that they will not hire individuals from Columbia University due to ongoing demonstrations there.

Dudum, the founder of the men’s telehealth company Hims, has a personal connection to Gaza and the West Bank. He has encouraged protesters to continue their efforts against the genocide of Palestinian people and for university divestment from Israel. He has expressed his willingness to hire these activists, regardless of their academic background.

Despite the backlash from some investors, Dudum remains committed to his stance on the Israel-Palestine conflict. He has also emphasized the importance of nuance and understanding in addressing the complexities of the situation.

In contrast, other CEOs like Tom McClellan and Warren Kinsella have announced their refusal to hire graduates from Columbia University due to the ongoing protests on campus. They have cited concerns about the academic atmosphere and values of the institution.

Furthermore, universities in Iran and Yemen have reportedly offered admission to students who have faced disciplinary action for participating in pro-Palestinian protests in the US.
