Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton expressed concern that voters may cast their ballots in the upcoming November election before former President Donald Trump’s legal issues are resolved. Trump, the presumed GOP presidential nominee, is currently facing multiple court battles while campaigning for the 2024 election, with some trials being delayed. Clinton warned that if these trials continue to be postponed leading up to the election on Nov. 5, voters may not be fully informed about Trump’s charges.

Clinton emphasized the importance of timely justice, stating that voters may go to the polls without knowing the outcomes of Trump’s serious trials. She highlighted a specific trial in New York, which she described as being related to election interference and preventing voters from making informed decisions in the 2016 election. Trump’s trial in Manhattan involves alleged hush money payments to Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about an alleged affair in 2016. Clinton, who lost to Trump in the 2016 presidential election, suggested that Trump went to great lengths to silence individuals who could have influenced the election.

Additionally, Clinton criticized the Supreme Court for not making a decision on Trump’s argument for presidential immunity, which was heard on April 25. She accused the Court of trying to find loopholes to grant immunity to the former president for his serious charges. Clinton also warned of a possible second Trump presidency, drawing parallels to Russian President Vladimir Putin in silencing critics in the media.

One of the cases Trump is facing involves keeping classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort, which has been indefinitely delayed by U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon. The trial, originally scheduled for May 20, has been postponed.
