In Austin, Texas Governor Greg Abbott recently unveiled the launch of a new list focusing on undocumented immigrants. This list, which will feature the top 10 wanted illegal criminal fugitives, aims to target repeat offenders who have entered the country illegally and are wanted for dangerous crimes committed within the state. The initiative, known as the “Top 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List,” is a collaborative effort with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) to locate these individuals before they have the opportunity to commit additional crimes.
DPS Director Steve McCraw emphasized the importance of apprehending these offenders, stating, “Individuals on Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List are likely to commit other crimes, and DPS is enlisting the public’s help in apprehending these offenders before they commit additional crimes.”
Texas DPS has made the list, complete with photos, available on its website. The initiative also includes cash rewards offered by Texas Crime Stoppers to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest of individuals on the top 10 list.
To provide information and potentially earn a cash reward, individuals can:
- Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
- Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive they have information about and clicking on the link under their picture.

Abbott’s office assures that all tips provided are anonymous, regardless of the method used to submit the information.
