According to Sununu, the cost of living will become a pressing concern for Americans in the coming months, particularly in September and October. He emphasized the importance of Trump staying on message and addressing the issues that matter most to voters. Sununu warned that whenever Trump strays from this focus, he inadvertently hands the Democrats an opportunity to gain ground in the election.
Sununu acknowledged that Trump has begun to refocus his campaign efforts, and he believes this shift in strategy will pay off in the long run. He noted that the first meaningful poll numbers will emerge after Labor Day, once Americans have had a chance to process the campaign developments. Sununu emphasized that Trump’s ability to close the deal and secure a landslide victory rests squarely on his shoulders.
To achieve this goal, Sununu stressed that Trump must remain professional and focused on his campaign, particularly when engaging with undecided voters. By doing so, Trump can rekindle the momentum he had just a month and a half ago and ultimately emerge victorious.
