PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A man from Madeira Beach, Florida, is accused of biting a bar manager’s finger after being informed that he and his friends could not bring their dog into the bar.
On Sunday evening, 27-year-old Kenneth Alvin Davis III attempted to enter the Undertow Beach Bar, situated at 3850 Gulf Boulevard, accompanied by his friends and a dog.
According to an affidavit, the group became “unruly” after being told that the dog was not allowed inside.
Davis III then lunged at the manager and bit his finger, the affidavit stated. In response, the manager punched Davis III in the face.
Authorities reported that the rest of the group began fighting and punching the bar staff, necessitating separation by arriving deputies, as noted in the document.
The bar manager declined to press battery charges. The affidavit indicated that Davis III is facing a charge for disorderly intoxication.
