First lady Jill Biden lauded her husband’s debate performance, even though nearly every political commentator criticized it and suggested he should be replaced.
“Joe, you did such a great job. You answered every question. You knew all the facts,” Jill Biden told her husband as the crowd cheered.
Despite the first lady’s praise, the president had few defenders Thursday night. Commentators on CNN and MSNBC unanimously agreed that Biden lost the debate.
