Former President Donald Trump promised in Wisconsin to reject President Joe Biden’s economic policies, known as “Bidenomics,” and bring back “MAGAnomics” if he wins in November.
According to estimates by the Republican National Committee, the average Wisconsin family lost nearly $22,000 due to the higher cost of living under Biden.
Recent polls indicate that a significant number of voters in swing states like Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan believe that the economy worsened under Biden’s administration.
During a rally, Trump criticized Biden’s economic policies, calling them “economic warfare” on American families. He promised to implement MAGAnomics and stop Biden’s spending, inflation, and green energy initiatives if he is elected.
After facing criticism for the negative effects of his economic policies, Biden’s aides largely stopped using the term “Bidenomics,” which had been intended to highlight his economic achievements.
Trump and his supporters have successfully turned “Bidenomics” into a slogan to represent Biden’s perceived economic failures. This shift in perception has led to Biden rarely using the term in his speeches in 2024.
