Celebrity bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman has joined the search for missing Tennessee teenager Sebastian Rogers, who was reported missing on February 26. Chapman believes the 14-year-old is still alive and is determined to find him, using his unique skills and resources to aid in the investigation.
“I’m not bound by the same rules as law enforcement,” Chapman explained. “I can push the limits and take risks that they can’t. I’m going to track down anyone who might be involved and bring them to justice.”
Sebastian’s disappearance has been shrouded in controversy, with his biological father, Seth Rogers, expressing concerns that his ex-partner and her new husband are not cooperating with the investigation. Chapman suspects that a custody battle between the parents may be at the root of the disappearance.
“We’re dealing with a domestic dispute that’s escalated into a full-blown crisis,” Chapman said. “I’m going to work with Seth to uncover the truth and bring Sebastian home.”
The FBI has offered a $50,000 reward for information about the case, but Chapman has increased the reward to $100,000 in an effort to encourage tips. He and his team will work independently of law enforcement, but will share information and follow up on new leads.
Sebastian is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, with sandy blond hair, and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and glasses.
