On Friday’s edition of the “Tomi Lahren Is Fearless” podcast, New York Times bestselling author Alex Marlow argued that Democrats aim to wear down 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump with the criminal charges against him. Marlow suggested that Trump shouldn’t play into this strategy by sacrificing his economic message to focus on relitigating his trial in New York.
Host Tomi Lahren commented that during Trump’s presser earlier in the day, there were about 25 minutes that he could have skipped, as he spent too much time getting bogged down in the legal aspects of the case.
Marlow added that Trump needs to return to his economic message and avoid debating legalities at the expense of addressing economic issues. He argued it’s dangerous to assume that Trump has secured the election due to the conviction, as Democrats clearly desired to see Trump convicted.
